Government Surveyors on Token Strike from Today

Chairman of the Government Surveyor’s Association, Duminda Udugoda said, they have decided to commence a 3-day token strike from today (14).

He further said, the main reason for this token strike is the government has decided to hand over the country’s Land Survey responsibilities to the United States based surveying firm.

Meanwhile, protest is due to be held in Colombo on March 16, Udugoda added.
