Private Bus Operators on Strike

Private bus operators plying the Negombo – Colombo (240) route have launched a strike this morning.

They are in protest over the assault of a bus conductor.

President  of the Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association (LPBOA) said that  the strike will continue until authorities arrest the individual responsible for the attack and take legal action.
