A Special Mobile Service to Provide Compensation to Victims of the Recent Unrest in Kandy

In order to accelerate the process of making payment of compensation to victims of the recent Kandy unrest, on  advice given by the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe,  a special mobile service will be established.

Accordingly,  the programme will commence at the Kandy District Secretariat.

The Prime Minister also issued instructions to expedite the payment of compensation to places of religious worship that were damaged during the unrest.
