Managing Garbage Collection & Disposal is CMC’s Responsibilities -Champika

Collection and disposal of garbage has nothing to do with his Ministry, said Minister Champika Ranawake. It is Colombo Municipality which manages this function. However the Minister has extended a helping hand to the CMC.

If garbage is differentiated and brought, it could be disposed at Muthurajawela dumping place, said Minister Champika Ranawake during a press briefing held yesterday.
