The 37th Session of the UN Human Rights Council on Srilanka Today

The Universal Periodic Review is a unique process which involves a review of the human rights records of all UN Member States.
Sri Lanka’s Universal Periodic Review Report under the 3rd cycle of the UPR will be presented at the ongoing 37th regular session of the UN Human Rights Council.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the review report will be adopted at the session today.
Foreign Minister Tilak Marapana and Minister Sarath Amunugama will also be part of the Sri Lankan delegation to the UNHRC who are scheduled to leave the island today.
