Arrest Warrant Issued Against  Wimal & Jayantha Samaraweera

On February 6, 2016, the National Freedom Front (NFF) staged a protest march against the visit of United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein.

A case was filed  against National Freedom Front (NFF) leader and Parliamentarian Wimal Weerawansa and , Jayantha Samaraweera for leading the protest demonstration.

The  Colombo Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court today issued arrest warrant against them as they have failed to appear in court today (19).
