Education Ministry Attempts to Accelerate O/L Exam & Paper Marking Process.

Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Department of Examination is exploiting the possibility of conducting the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in the first week of December and to start paper marking immediately after the examination and complete the entire process before the end of December.

In order to accelerate implementation of this plan, Ministry of Education and Department of Examination considers engaging 30,000 teachers involved in conducting the O/L examination for paper marking duties.
