New Director General to Mahaweli Authority

Additional Secretary to the President Sarath Chandrasiri Vithana has been appointed as the new Director General of the Mahaweli Authority.

He received his letter of appointment from President Maithripala Sirisena at the President’s Official Residence, yesterday (22).

He was a senior public servant in the Sri Lanka Administrative Service, and he was also served as a Secretary and Additional Secretary to several Ministries.
