Special Security Arrangements In and around Parliament

Law and order Minister Ranjith Madduma Bandara said, that special security arrangements have been made in and around parliament tomorrow (4).

 This special security arrangement is made due to parliamentary debate and voting on no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe.

The Police, Police Special Task Force and Police Riot Squad have deployed in and around parliament.

The Minister further said the MPs would be able to cast their votes independently.

The Minister also said that arrangements will be made to ensure MPs unrestricted access to Parliament.
