The Economic Committee not Dissolved

In a media brief held yesterday at Finance Ministry, Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera said, that the economic committee functioning under Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe was not dissolved.

Although a cabinet proposal was made to cancel this committee. 2 weeks time was sought.

Hence, there is no truth in news media that the economic committee was dissolved.
