No-Confidence Motion Against Prime Minister – Debate and Voting Today
On 21st March members of the Joint Opposition including former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Dinesh Gunawardena handed over this no-confidence motion against the PM to the Speaker.
No-confidence Motion has been submitted based on 14 charges against Prime Minster and 55 members signed, which included four SLFP MPs.
The debate on the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister will be taken up for debate between 9.30 am and 9.30 pm in parliament today (04). Voting on the no confidence motion will be called at 9.30 pm today.
