UNP to Hand Over No-Confidence Motion Against Some SLFP Ministers to Speaker Today

United National Party MP Mujibur Rahman said, that  the UNP will hand over a ‘no-confidence motion’ to Speaker Karu Jayasuriya against the SLFP Ministers, who voted in favour of the No-Confidence Motion moved by the Joint Opposition against the Prime Minister.

Ministers Susil Premajayantha, Dayasiri Jayasekera, Anura Priyadharshana Yapa, S. B. Dissanayake, W. D. J. Seneviratne and Chandima Weerakkody voted for the NCM.

State Ministers and Deputy Ministers Lakshman Wasantha Perera, Dilan Perera, Sumeda G. Jayasena, Susantha Punchinilame, Thilanga Sumanthipala, Sudharshani Fernandopulle, Lakshman Yapa, Anuradha Jayaratne, T. B. Ekanayake and Tharanath Basnayake voted in support of the motion.
