C.Wickneswaren Won’t be the Chief Minister Candidate in Future NPC Election – Sumanthiran

TNA MP Sumanthiran addressing an event said, that C.Wickneswaren won’t be the Chief Minister Candidate of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) in the forthcoming Northern Provincial Council election.

He further said, when we invited him to accept the Chief Minister candidature in the year 2013, he placed a condition that he would hold the post only for two years and thereafter,TNA MP  Mawai Senathirajah brother should take over from him. At this point of time TNA Leader R.Sampanthan said , that it was not appropriate to say like that. However, he served over five years. Hence, he needs rest. Therefore, we cannot compel him to contest on behalf of the TNA anymore.
