Several Names Proposed For UNP Gen.Secy’s Post..

Recently the Chairman and General Secretary of the UNP resigned thus paving a way for restructuring.

Subsequently a 12 member committee was appointed to select and recommend office bearers for higher posts in the party.

Names of UNP Deputy General Secretary and Media Spokesperson, Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, Minister Navin Dissanayake and UNP MP Imtiaz Bakeer Markar were proposed.
