Weather Forecast For 16th April 2018

Showers or thundershowers will occur over most provinces (particularly in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Central, North-western and Uva provinces) of the islandafter 2.00 p.m.

Showers or thundershowers may occur in the coastal areas of Southern province and Ampara district in the morning too.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces during the morning.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
