President to Issue a Gazette Specifying the Time to Convene Parliament on 8th

When Parliament is prorogued by the President Maithripala Sirisena on 12^th April, he had an option to specify the date and the time when the house would be convened. A situation has arisen that the President will have to issue another gazette notification to specify the time when the House would convene on 8th May 2018, parliamentary sources said.

Hence, the President is expected to issue another gazette notification when he returns from his tour to London according to Parliament Sources.
