Vigneswaran Determines to Contest Again For CM … 

Incumbent C.V. Vigneswaran determines to run again for Chief Minister of the Northern Province even if he is not given nominations from the TNA.

Responding to a remark by TNA MP M.A. Sumanthiran that Vigneswaren  be given rest and the party would field another candidate, Vigneswaran said he would not give up his service to the people hinting that he will contest  for the Chief Minister post from some other party.

The CM said he did not believe the ITAK would choose him as the candidate, and stressed that he would respect the people’s request and would not leave politics.

Vigneswaran has added that there has been a suggestion even to form a new party too.
