Two Spill Gates of the Anagamuwa Reservoir Opened

Due to rising water level, two spill gates of the Anagamuwa Reservoir were opened today,  Deputy Director of Disaster Management Centre (DMC) Pradeep Kodippili said.

The Road from Puttalam to Mannar (Old Mannar Road) has been closed as it was inundated at Eluwankulama.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
