Due to Crack Kadugannawa Rock Tunnel  to be Closed

Kadugannawa rock  tunnel was constructed during 1828/1830 period by engineer William Dawson. Although the Central Province RDA renovated the tunnel earlier, they have ignored the crack.
 Since this crack became obvious and   pointed out by the area residents and exposed in an electronic media, Road Development Authority has decided to close the tunnel for vehicular movements.
