Landslide in Haputale

An area road leading to Kirimitiya from Wallaputhana coming under the purview of Haputale – Halthumulla Divisional Secretariat experiences land slide. Hence, roads leading  to Ginikathkala, Kirimittiya and Kalupana villages got disrupted. As a result movement of 360 families  got badly affected.

Reports state that if the landslide in these areas continues unabatedly and the frequency increases, Badulla – Colombo transport will get disrupted.
