Mirissa Illegal Structures to be Removed Within 2 Weeks…….

The Coast conservation Department (CCD)’s director A.H.Gamini Hewage said, that they have identified around 17 structures, with 12 of them posing critical problems to the area such as beach encroachment, and many nefarious and anti-social activities are taking place inside such establishments. Hence, hat while they would attempt to remove all 17 in one day, they would initially definitely remove the 12 problematic structures.

Subsequent to talks held in this connection, that they would act in accordance with provisions of the Coast conservation Act No.57 of 1981.
