Water Level Increased Udawalawa Reservoir Spill Gates Opens

Due to heavy rain fall in Udawalawa area, water levels in the Udawalawa river has been increased.

Three spill gates of the Udawalawa reservoir have been opened from last night.  Deputy Director of Mahaweli Authority Sujeewa Gunasekara said.

Hence, Public living on both sides of the Walawe river had been warned  to take precautions.
