Three Wheeler Fares Hike

Three wheeler charges were increased from last midnight, President  of All-Island Three-Wheeler Drivers’ Union Lalith Dharmasekera said.

The fare for the first kilometre of a three-wheeler would be increased by Rs.10 .

Earlier the charges levied for the first kilometer  was Rs 50, which has now been increased to Rs 60.

He said that the decision was taken after the government took a decision to increase fuel prices from last night .
