State Medical Officers Association Seeks an Appointment to Meet the President Before Launching Strike

The State Medical Officers Association has requested President Maithripala Sirisena to give an opportunity to meet him before the proposed island wide strike planned by them.
The request was made by Secretary of State Medical Officers Society Haritha Aluthge during a media briefing held yesterday (14) in Colombo.
The Doctor Association has accused that they were not properly explained the contents of the agreement and the deal with the Singapore.
If the President does not intervene in this matter, Secretary Haritha Aluthge also warns the government that a continuous   strike will be launched by them.
