Hearing Avant Garde Chairman Nissanka’s FR Petition Postponed

The Fundamental Rights petition filed by Avant Garde Chairman Nissanka Senadhipathi,  seeking to grant interim injunction against arresting him was taken up in the Supreme Court today (23).

Supreme Court Judge Murdu Fernando has declined to sit on the bench. Hence, the Supreme Court bench comprised of Priyantha Jayawardena and Murdu Fernando decided to postpone the hearings on 8^th June.
