Red Notice to Abstain From G.C.E.(AL) Exam Paper Marking…

Educational Administrative Service trade union  has warned that if the government fails to abandon its attempt to recruit unqualified persons on political grounds to the Srilanka Education  Service (SLES), they will abstain from  G.C.E.(AL) Examination  paper correction work.
Already a list of 1200 persons reported to have been prepared and on Cabinet approval sent to the Public Service Commission.
In order to register their protest, Education  service trade unions staged a work to rule campaign on 23rd. Today all trade unions in the education sector are scheduled to go to the Public Service Commission demanding not to approve it.
