President Lash Out at the IGP Over Underworld

While addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Welisara Court Complex this morning (31), President Maithripala Sirisena said that that the Ministry of Law and Order and the Police Department should be held responsible for the failure to arrest underworld gangs.

The President said in this connection, he had recently warned the IGP.
