Electricity Engineers Poised For Continuous Trade Union Action

The Executive Committee of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) Engineers Union will meet tomorrow (01) at 9 am to consider continuous trade union action .

Though work to rule campaign had been carried out  over a month demanding  to resolve the issues raised, no solution was found to date.

A few  CEB engineers have prepared   a long term power generation plan and submitted it. However,  Public Utility Commission has not granted approval for the project. In order to register  their protest against this denial , they are resorted to work to rule campaign as from 8^th last month.
