Increase in School Transport Cost as From Today

Secretary of all Island School Children’s Transport Association Lalith Chandrasiri said that they were compelled to increase the rate of charging for transport of school children according to the distance they travel from home to school.

This increase was mainly due to the increase made in fuel prices recently.
