On receiving public complaints, the President Maithripala Sirisena appointed a Commission on 14th February to inquire into the irregularities that took place in the Srilankan airlines, Srilanka Catering and Mihin Lanka . Retired judges were appointed as Commissioners.
The commission has started recording evidence at 10.30 am today (4). For this purpose Registrar and other officials of the Srilankan airlines were earlier notified.
The commission sources said that 44 complaints have been received by the Commission.
