Postal Employees Strike Called Off
The postal and telecommunication officers’ union’s strike was called off from last midnight.
They went on strike from 3rd of June midnight demanding to remove contravening conditions in recruitment procedure.
The co-coordinator of the postal union federation, Chintaka Bandara, said that more than one lakh of letters and packages got struck in the island wide post offices.
