Basil to Be Tried On 1st November

Former Minister Basil Rajapaksa and 3 others are accused of misusing Rs. 2991 million from Divinaguma Development Department to purchase corrugated galvanized sheets and distribute it   during Presidential election.

When the case was taken up for inquiry today, Colombo High Court Judge, R. Gurusinghe fixed 1st of November to hear the case and ordered that 4th and 21st witnesses should be present in court on 1st of November to record evidence.
