Arms & Ammunition Found In Killinochchi.

A group of people who had gone into the area taking their cattle herds had seen the ammunition dump and had informed the police.

Following the information STF personnel found a cache of arms and ammunition hidden during the conflict by the LTTE cadres were detected in an abandoned toilet pit in Puliyanpokkanai in Kilinochchi.

Reports received revealed that   184 hand grenades, 35,500 T-56 ammunition, 5 claymores, 4 kg of explosives, 34 40mm mortars, and 4 RPG’s were among the find.
