Electors Register Displayed  For Public Viewing

The Elections Commission says the register of electors and other related contents of registered voters can be seen through respective divisional secretariats and from Grama seva offices, where it made available.

Election commission  statement said the general public can access all voter registration information through divisional secretariat offices and requested the public to refrain from arriving at district election offices to examine the contents.

The Elections Commission noted, during the school admission process, parents are expected to fill-in voter registration details of the past five years, which  made a considerable number of individuals have arrived at district elections offices and thereby obstructing day to day affairs of election officials.
