Live Parliamentary Telecast Stopped?

The national Rupavahini channel was telecasting the live parliamentary coverage for two hours daily.
Due to Parliament’s  inability to pay Rs. 6.5 million monthly for the live telecast to the National Rupavahini Channel, the live telecast of the parliamentary sittings reported to have been stopped over the past few weeks.
The parliamentary authorities had taken this decision due to their inability to meet with the annual cost of around Rs. 80 million for this telecast.
However, parliamentary internal sources revealed, although the live telecast on Rupavahini has been stopped, PEO TV subscribers can still view the parliamentary live telecast.
