Group of 16 SLFPs Meet Basil Today

Group of 16b SLFP MPs who left the government and sit with the opposition is scheduled to meet Basil Rajapakshe today at 1400 hrs at the Srilanka Podujana Peramuna Headquarters on Lotus road.

They are expected to discuss about their future position in connection with the SLPP and political development in the country.It is relevant to mention the fact here that earlier Basis Rajapakshe commented about a group trying to approach SLPP thus “SLPP is like an ocean. A few waste water canals too try to emerge with it”.Despite this comment, group of 16 meets Basil Rajapakshe.
