Parliament to Probe Wijeyakala’s Speech

State Minister Wijekala Maheswaran has yesterday said that during the period of tigers people were able to live independently.  Her statement has made several protests by mostly people in the South.

Parliamentarians too have raised the same issue in Parliament today (3).they demandedthat she be relived of her post in parliament.there were unrest in parliament due to this reson.

In response the Speaker informs parliament that he will conduct a disciplinary investigation on State Minister Vijayakala’s speech referring to LTTE.
