China Harbour Engineering Company Defends Mahinda?

Issuing a statement the China Harbour Engineering Company, which established Hambantota Harbour, defended former President Mahinda Rajapakshe in connection with the allegation that it provided money for the election fund of Mahinda Rajapakshe during presidential election in the year 2015.

The statement issued categorically denied providing such funds for presidential Election   of Mahinda Rajapakshe. It further states that they had never interfered in the internal affairs of the country and Hambantota Port was established for the Government of Srilanka and Srilankan public.

The New York Times news release contains several erroneous, false and baseless informations.
