Anura Discloses President’s Directive on Midnight Fuel Price Revision

Followed by the revision of fuel prices introduced with effect from midnight yesterday (Jul 05).

Lanka IOC also increased the fuel prices.

Ceylon Petrolium Corporation maintained fuel stations commenced charging new prices from this morning. The Finance Ministry has directed the upward revision of fuel prices.

The leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna, Anura Kumara Dissanayake speaking in Parliament today (6) said, that President Maithripala Sirisena has informed the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation to reduce fuel prices.
