There is a possibility of increasing the wind speed to some extend over the Island and surrounding sea area.

Several spells of showers will occur at Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Galle, Matara and Kaluthara districts. Light showers may occur at Colombo and Gampaha districts.

Fairly strong gusty winds up to 40-50kmph can be expected in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Western, North-western and North central provinces and in Monaragala and Batticaloa districts.
