“Corruption, crime, drugs are main challenges for every country” – President

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – President Maithripala Sirisena expect to place Sri Lanka in the number one position among the countries in the world fighting against the corruption, during his tenure.

He made this remarks attending the Global Expert Group Meeting on the Jakarta Principles held in Colombo, on Wednesday (25).

“The power and corruption join together,” President said adding that the bribery and corruption, crime and drugs are the main challenges faced by the developed as well as developing countries in the world.
