Kuwaiti couple banned from leaving Sri Lanka

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) The Kuwaiti couple, who allegedly assaulted five Officials attached to the Customs Department at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), when they were requested to quarantine their pet dog, ordered to be remain in Sri Lanka until Court proceedings conclude.

Kuwaiti couple were arrested earlier, and produced before the Negombo Magistrate’s Court by the Police today (30).

The Magistrate also ordered the couple to reappear in the Court on 10 August.
