(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) The accident had occurred at around 10.45 last night when a lorry was attempting to overtake a bus collided head-on with a three-wheeler in Kumbukkana junction on the Monaragala – Wellawaya road last night.
Three persons including a child were killed in a road accident, Police said. The deceased are 22-year-old youth, 19-year-old young woman, and an 8-year-old boy.
Four persons including the driver of the three-wheeler were admitted to Monaragala Hospital and three of them succumbed to their injuries.
