Showers to continue – Met. Department

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Showers or thundershowers will be expected over the most parts of the island particularly in the evening or night, the Department of Meteorology said, adding that the showery condition, particularly in the North-Central, Central and Uva Provinces is expected to continue during next few days.

Heavy falls about 100 mm can be expected at some places in the Central, Uva, Sabaragamuwa, North-Central and Southern Provinces.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in Western, Southern and North-western coastal areas in the morning too.
