(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – The Department of Meteorology stated that the enhancement of afternoon thundershowers to some extent over the island is expected to continue further from tonight (19), particularly during 20 and 21 October.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at most places in the island particularly after 2.00 PM.
Showers or thundershowers will occur in the several places in the coastal areas of Northern, Eastern, and North-Western Province in the morning too.
Heavy falls about 100 millimetres can be expected at some places, particularly in Central, Uva, Sabaragamuwa and North-Central Provinces, and in Galle, Matara Districts.
