Rosy claim sabotage of street lights during protest [PHOTOS]

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Colombo Mayor Rosy Senanayake on Sunday (04) tweeted that it was brought to her notice that street lights around the Liberty Roundabout failed to come on, forcing the protest demonstration staged at the Roundabout to continue in darkness.

A protest demonstration was staged on Sunday (04) at the Liberty Roundabout last evening calling for Parliament to be reconvened immediately.

It is reported that the street lights had not been turned on at the usual time in the area forcing the protest to continue in darkness.
