“Rajapaksa’s backdoor entry into Premier chair wrong,” says Arjuna

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Former Minister for Development of Petroleum Resources Arjuna Ranatunga on Tuesday (27) stated that the controversial appointment of Mahinda Rajapaksa as Prime Minister was a ‘Wrong decision’ as the Government at that time was anyway getting unpopular.

In an interview with News18, Ranatunga stressed that former Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe may not be the most popular leader at present, but he is still giving tough competition to current the Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
