(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – UPDATE: Speaker Karu Jayasuriya has informed Parliament that he needs more time to study and declare his stance on the appointment of Mahinda Rajapaksa to the position of the Leader of the Opposition.
(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Speaker Karu Jayasuriya is expected to declare his stance in Parliament on Friday (21) on the appointment of Mahinda Rajapaksa to the position of the Leader of the Opposition.
Parliament is due to convene at 10.30 this morning.
