13 Senior students of Wayamba University arrested

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – 13 senior students of the Wayamba University have been arrested for assaulting students of the same University.

The students of the first year were subjected to this assault.

They have been attacked as they protested against ragging of a senior student group.

Initial investigations have revealed that the group of students had arrived in a car and assaulted them.

The 13 students to be produced before the Kuliyapitiya Magistrate today (21).
