Ryan Reynolds To Attend A “Shotgun Wedding”

Ryan Reynolds is set to both star in and produce the action romantic comedy “Shotgun Wedding” for Lionsgate, Mandeville Films and Maximum Effort.

The story follows a couple whose extravagant destination wedding is taken over by criminals. In the process of saving their families, they rediscover why they wanted to get married in the first place.

Casting is underway for the female lead and additional roles. Jason Moore (“Pitch Perfect”) directs the project which Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman (“The Proposal”) will also produce. Mark Hammer and Liz Meriwether did the script and filming begins this Summer.
